Mike recently served as Vice President of Marketing for SOLiD – a manufacturer of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) Optical Transport solutions – where he led the strategy and execution for all corporate marketing, product marketing and marketing communications.
During his tenure, Mike helped launch the Safer Buildings Coalition, a public-safety industry advocacy group. He also defined and developed thought leadership for the "Middleprise” market segment, and was the visionary and content contributor for the indoor public-safety communications eBook, The Imperative.
Prior to SOLiD, Mike established brand awareness for MobileAccess, a DAS manufacturer later acquired by Corning. He also led the turnaround for a managed services company and helped reboot a middleware business to compete against larger incumbents.
Mike serves as an advisor for both industry and non-profit organizations. He is a board member of the Safer Buildings Coalition and a member of the advisory councils for IWCE and the Northeast DAS & Small Cells Association (NEDAS). Mike was named “Volunteer of the Year” in 2011 for his work on behalf of the YMCA of Central Virginia.
