He served as the head of product marketing at Motorola leading the launches of 2G, 3G and 4G technologies including LTE, WiMAX, W-CDMA, CDMA, GSM and iDEN. Prior to this, Tom was the CMO and head of product management at Motorola’s Canopy Broadband Wireless division.
Tom's recent interests include analyzing the challenges of network densification as 3G and 4G networks evolve into 5G. He has studied the tradeoffs of the latest Wi-Fi, DAS, Small Cell and Cloud RAN technologies and brings extensive experience to Wireless 20/20 clients who are interested in evaluating the opportunities of optimizing their network densification strategies including implementing RAN sharing, as well as “Carrier Neutral” approaches of building 4G and 5G networks.
Tom offers innovation strategy, implementation and training to help companies establish a strong pipeline for their product or service portfolio. His expertise includes product strategy development, product marketing and management, down to the brass tacks of creating marketing strategy and developing sales and marketing tools for both direct and indirect channels. Tom has led executive management workshops and has a proven public speaking track record. He holds degrees in computer science and electronic engineering technology.
